Although TYS resides on the IBM Cloud and is made up of a series of nodes that are owned by "anchors" (their Fortune500 governance members) and managed by the network as well as the participants themselves, TYS has also created "channels" to overcome issues in countries like China, or where there is a need to have data populated in countries because of the increasingly-prevalent privacy policies.
