Luna 27 is a combined effort between the European Space Agency (ESA) and Roscosmos (https://t.me/stellarVBRF/219) and is officially designed to be the first launch of a new series of missions to return humans to the Lunar surface as a continuation of the Luna-Glob program. Luna 27 will send a lander to an unexplored area at the Moon's south pole aka "the dark side of the moon" to supposedly look for water and necessary raw materials ("volatiles") to make fuel and oxygen needed to sustain life for a "hypothetical" lunar base
[Luna 27] will be for astronomical observation, for the utilisation of minerals and other lunar resources, and to create an outpost that can be visited by cosmonauts working together as a test bed for their future flight to Mars
- Igor Mitrofanov, Head of the Nuclear Planetology Department at the Space Research Institute, IKI
According to ESA's website, Luna 27's official mission is to "study the soil composition". Many articles and documents have also suggested that Luna 27 will be "prospecting" for minerals, volatiles (nitrogen, water, carbon dioxide, ammonia, hydrogen, methane and sulfur dioxide), and lunar water ice, as well as "investigating" the potential use of these "natural lunar resources". Ergo, the Russian space program officially alludes to Luna 27 "assessing" whether there are enough materials to sustain "scientific and commercial benefits"
It should be noted, however, that in all nearly articles and published documents on Luna 27, the words used to carefully describe this mission always convey the message that Russia is determined to commercialize the Moon's resources. Therefore, when reading between the lines, they do not suggest that a feasibility study must be conducted first to determine if the resources even exist there or if there the supply is adequate. Instead, they clearly suggest these are "nautral and abundant" lunar resources ready to be harvested and utilized in commercial applications, confirming the fact that Roscosmos has already known for decades that this was always the eventuality
In other words, Luna 27 is another piece of the public declas puzzle for the world to slowly learn about the existance of Russia's Zvezda Moonbase, (https://t.me/stellarrussia/632) just as LUNAR52 (https://t.me/stellarrussia/583) (publicly known as Luna 25, the Russian lunar lander that reportedly crashed into the moon, even though it did not) was before it. Luna 27 is an important bridge to help awaken people's understanding that a fully-functional and self-sustaining moon base is indeed feasible, and that it is also timed perfectly to be in alignment with other global space agency projects, such as Artemis (https://t.me/stellarrussia/685) and Jed McCaleb's VAST (https://t.me/stellarrussia/600) programs
Natural Lunar Resources
Another critical component of Luna 27's mission is the study of quantum magnetic fields for commercial use cases. For example:
- phenonema such as wormholes which connect distant points in the universe can be created by harnessing the "power of the celetial universe” to localize gravitational anomalies
- teleportation devices also connect distant points but are developed using manufactured products
- magnetic fields that can be used to enhance vehicles and convert them in zero-emissions, zero-external-battery-or-fuel-source, antigravity spacecrafts
- MRI machines can be supercharged with quantum magnets to become medbeds
This is why the moon base is an ideal environment to study, test, and develop such quantum technologies and devices
Global Space Agency Alliance
Although the ESA publically announced on 13 April 2022 that they were discontinuing their cooperative activities with Russia (https://www.esa.int/Newsroom/Press_Releases/Redirecting_ESA_programmes_in_response_to_geopolitical_crisis) on Luna-25, -26 and -27 as a result of the Ukrainian SMO and that they would be working instead with NASA, the truth is that this is also part of the public narrative declas so people understand this is a global mission where all space agencies are collaborating together through open source methods and freely sharing information in order to decentralize the lunar base and make it accessible for all. Of course, behind the scenes though, ESA is still very much cooperating with Roscosmos on this mission
ESA's "Prospect" drill (https://www.esa.int/Science_Exploration/Human_and_Robotic_Exploration/Exploration/Luna) will be used to search for water, ice, and other chemicals under the surface, together with another Russian device. Operating at temperatures of –150 °C, this state-of-the-art surface drill is capable of penetrating lunar regolith up to a depth of 2 meters in a quest for hidden lunar ice (https://russianspaceweb.com/luna_resurs_lander.html)
Currently, Luna 27's lander is scheduled to launch in 2028
Compared to the "Space Race" era of the 20th century, in which American and Russian space programs competed fiercely to outdo the other in space exploration, these new joint missions demonstrate a shared spirit of collaboration (https://www.sciencealert.com/international-luna-27-mission-sets-the-stage-for-a-human-return-to-the-moon)
Thus, the Luna-Glob program is not truly about continuing where the exploration program that was supposedly halted by the Soviet Union in the mid 1970s left off, but is rather about slowly declassifying the existing R&D that has already taken place at Zvezda moonbase for nearly half a century, while also preparing to bridge these quantum Galactic sciences with Earth so that what has been considered as "GESARA technologies" can finally be unveiled to all of humanity
