- Standardizes the fields used for Know Your Customer (KYC) information within the Stellar ecosystem. Defines specific data points for natural persons, businesses, and financial accounts, ensuring consistency and interoperability for KYC processes across various services.
- This SEP defines a list of standard KYC, AML, and financial account-related fields for use in Stellar ecosystem protocols.
- No more fake ID's with the combination of proof of liveness = BIOMETRICS
- Callbacks = code for stopping/ pausing the transaction pending additional requirements (missing KYC,
blacklisted or suspicious activity)
- Confirmation of SPIA-compliant banks integrating our bank records with Stellar for KYCAML
